Dr. Blake Tollison is a highly skilled orthodontist who is passionate about creating beautiful, confident smiles for his patients. A Greenville native, Dr. Tollison is honored to serve the community that shaped his upbringing and is committed to providing exceptional orthodontic care. With extensive experience as an Air Force dentist and specialized training in orthodontics, Dr. Tollison uses both traditional and advanced techniques to meet the unique needs of every patient. He is dedicated to building trust and fostering lifelong connections with his patients and their families.
Dr. Blake Tollison was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, where he spent most of his childhood, aside from briefly living in Houston, Texas, during his father’s orthopedic fellowship. He attended Clemson University for his undergraduate studies and graduated from the Medical
University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston for dental school.
In honor of his wife’s family’s military history, Dr. Tollison chose to serve in the United States Air Force. With a dental school scholarship, his military service took him and his family to Washington, D.C., Okinawa, Japan, and Montgomery, Alabama. After fulfilling his military commitment, Dr. Tollison completed a 26-month residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in Houston, Texas—exactly 30 years after his father had completed his fellowship in the same city.
Dr. Tollison draws inspiration from the people and experiences that shaped his journey. A quote by Simon Sinek resonates deeply with him:

Dr. Tollison is grateful for the many blessings and opportunities that have shaped his career. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a positive outlook, while his wife, Megan, has been a source of endless stability, encouragement, and support since their early days dating in high school. His children—Lewis, Georgiana, and Arabella—remind him of the beauty and simplicity of life, even in its complexities.
With a strong sense of stewardship for anything God provides, Dr. Tollison loves sharing his faith and expertise with everyone. Believing that life is not a sprint or a marathon but a relay, Dr. Tollison is excited to invest in Greenville’s future and give back to his community.
A devoted husband and father, Dr. Tollison values family above all else. His childhood was filled with soccer and baseball alongside his brother, Bailey, though he realized early on that his future would lie outside of professional sports. Today, his downtime is spent cherishing moments with his wife and children.
Returning to Greenville is deeply meaningful to Dr. Tollison—both personally and professionally. He is excited to raise his family in the same community where he grew up and takes great pride in contributing to its growth and development.
