They enter the world happy, innocent and carefree. They’re cute at first, but without love and guidance they can become unruly and out of control. And the longer you wait, the harder they are to train.

That’s why it’s so important that your child has an exam by age 7, when the first adult teeth start to come in. They might not even need braces yet, but if so, an orthodontist can steer them in the right direction. Mistakenly waiting until all the baby teeth are gone can often make problems worse, sometimes requiring surgery to correct. But this is usually avoidable if the problems are found early.

So for your child’s sake, as well as your peace of mind, bring those pups in early for a check up (at no charge).
